2024 U.S. Youth Olympic Men’s Hockey Team Announced

Team set to compete at Winter Youth Olympic Games in South Korea

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey today named the 17-player roster for its 2024 U.S. Youth Olympic Men’s Hockey Team that will compete at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games from Jan. 19 – Feb. 1 in Gangwon, South Korea.

The roster includes nine forwards, six defensemen and two goaltenders. Players represent 10 different states, including six from Minnesota, two from Illinois and California, and one each from Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin.

Team USA will take the ice against teams from Canada, Czechia, Finland, Korea, and Slovakia. Preliminary-round competition consists of two groups with three teams each. The U.S. will compete in Group A alongside Czechia and Slovakia. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the semifinals with bronze and gold medal games to follow.

The U.S. Youth Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team will open preliminary round play against Slovakia on Sat., Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. local/12 a.m. ET. All games will be streamed live and the link can be found here.
